What this is for

Business identity holds the information that describes your business. Its What the AI should know about your business field is the longer source of business facts used by AI writers when Business info is selected. Use it for facts the writer should know, not just a short slogan.

Business details is a separate card for the address, phone and email used in business email contact details. Your business name is edited in Business identity, so you do not need to enter it twice.

Before you start

  • Check that you are in the correct workspace. These details describe that workspace's business.
  • You must be an owner or admin to change either card. Other members can read the information.
  • Prepare the correct business name, factual description and any logo you want to use. Do not put passwords or API keys in the AI knowledge field.

Save your business identity

  1. Open Settings and scroll to Business identity. Wait for the existing details to load.
  2. Check Business name. A non-empty name is required to save.
  3. Choose Industry. When using the other-industry option, fill Other industry with your own description.
  4. Under What do you want to achieve?, select the goals that fit: Grow your social presence, Get leads, Use AI agents or Run paid ads. These describe your goals; selecting a goal does not itself launch an ad or send a message.
  5. Set Office size if relevant. The choices are Just me, 2–5 people, 5–15 people and 15+ people; the blank choice leaves it unspecified.
  6. Fill About your business with a concise description.
  7. In What the AI should know about your business, add the facts the writer should use. For example, describe your services, intended customers and the claims you can support. These examples are suggested content, not additional required fields.
  8. If needed, use Logo to choose an image. A preview appears while the upload is processed. Remove logo removes the selected logo from the form.
  9. Select Save. Wait for Business details saved. before treating the update as saved.

Field rules

Field Rule shown by the editor
Business name Required to save; up to 200 characters.
Other industry Up to 200 characters.
About your business Up to 2,000 characters.
What the AI should know about your business Up to 20,000 characters. The counter shows how much you have used; an over-limit value blocks saving.
Logo Choose an image; selecting a preview is not the same as a successful save.

The AI knowledge field and your writing style serve different purposes. Business knowledge supplies facts. Writing style controls how the writer should sound. Workspace rules and personal memories are also managed separately; see the Assistant guide.

Save business contact details

  1. Scroll to Business details, below the identity card.
  2. Fill Address, Phone and Email as needed.
  3. Select this card's Save. The saved-details notification confirms the update.

Address allows up to 300 characters, Phone up to 40, and Email up to 254 with a valid email format. These fields can be left empty. An invalid entry is highlighted with a message beside that field.

The two cards save independently. Saving contact details does not save unfinished edits in Business identity, or vice versa.

If something goes wrong

  • The fields are read-only: only an owner or admin can edit them. Ask someone with that role to update the business information.
  • Save is disabled in the identity card: check that the business name is not blank and the knowledge field is within 20,000 characters. Also wait for an in-progress save.
  • The logo preview disappears or the app says the logo was not saved: choose the image again, then save. Do not assume a temporary preview is the stored logo.
  • A load error appears: select Retry. Avoid replacing existing details based on a failed load.
  • A save error appears: keep your text, check the connection and try the affected card again. Wait for the success message.
