Team and workspaces
Your team at a glance
Open Team to see Members, their roles and seat status in the current workspace. Your personal account can belong to several workspaces; membership and permission in one do not automatically apply to another. Nadlanite presents the workspace as an office.
| Role | How the interface describes it |
|---|---|
| Owner | Owns the workspace and can initiate ownership transfer. |
| Admin | Manages the team and billing, and publishes. |
| Member | Prepares and publishes posts from their own accounts. |
| Viewer | Sees workspace content and does not publish. |
Permissions for specific actions still depend on the action and your seat. An admin is not the owner, and managing team billing does not mean every bill is personally theirs.
Guides in this area
- Switch or create a workspace: find your current membership, use another workspace, or start setup for a new one.
- Invite colleagues and accept invitations: email invitations, invitation links, correct account and expiry.
- Join with a workspace code: request access and approve or decline applicants.
- Manage roles, seats and departures: understand approval, payer and ownership constraints.
Read seat status separately from role
A person's role says what they may do; seat status says whether their subscription access is ready. Rows can show Active, Payment issue, Frozen, Needs to set up billing or Waiting for sponsor, and a trial end where applicable. A Viewer has a seat too; viewing is not an unlimited free membership.
With self-pay, people set up their own seats. With sponsored billing, the sponsor pays and sets them up. A request or invitation alone does not guarantee an active seat. See Plans and billing for plan confirmations and payment status.
Who can manage the team
Owners and admins can invite people and review join requests. Removal and role changes have additional restrictions. If a management control is missing, check your role instead of assuming the page failed. Every member can use the Team page to understand the team and their seat even when a billing gate prevents other work.
