# Enter and update property details

Start a Nadlanite property, enter its address and contact information, and understand the optional numeric fields before creating AI content.

## What this is for

Nadlanite uses **Properties** and **New property** where the general LeadKnight edition uses campaigns. Both use the campaign board, but the property AI path asks for structured listing details rather than the general campaign goal and ideas.

## Before you start

Prepare the property's address and a contact phone. Have the price, city, measurements and contact details available if you want them included. Contact information is prefilled from your profile; check it rather than assuming it is correct for this listing.

## Start the property

1. Open **Properties** at `/campaigns` and choose **New property**.
1. At **How urgent is this property?**, choose one to five stars and continue. The property path skips the general campaign goal/detail questions.
1. If **Who gets this property's leads?** appears, choose the intended recipient or the usual-recipient option.
1. At **Who creates the property content?**, choose **The AI**. Choosing **Me** opens the [manual composer](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/create-manual/) instead.
1. The **Property details** step shows **About the property** and **Contact details**.

## Fill in the details

1. Enter **Address**. This is required.
1. Add **City** if available. For Buy-and-Sell group publishing, the board specifically asks for a city and price; an address alone is not a substitute.
1. Fill optional **Rooms**, **Bathrooms** and **Area (sqm)** with known facts. Leave unknown optional values blank instead of inventing numbers.
1. Enter **Asking price** and check **Currency** if supplying a price.
1. Review **Contact name** and **Contact phone**, including prefilled values. A contact phone is required.
1. Press **Continue**. The next step is the property's description and optional media; completing this form alone does not create or publish a property.

### Numeric rules

| Field | Accepted values |
|---|---|
| **Rooms** | 0 to 50, in half-room increments, such as 3 or 3.5. |
| **Bathrooms** | Whole number from 0 to 20. |
| **Area (sqm)** | Whole number from 1 to 10,000 when supplied. |
| **Asking price** | A valid, non-negative number, with a currency. |

## Update an existing property's details

Open its board, find **Property details**, then **Edit property details**. Check the address and numeric fields, make the changes and **Save**. If details were read from a post, a note can ask you to complete the address before saving.

## If something goes wrong

- **Enter the property address**: fill the address before continuing.
- **Enter a contact phone number**: correct the required phone rather than leaving a stale profile value.
- **Rooms go in steps of one half (3, 3.5, 4 …)**: remove unsupported fractional room values.
- **Bathrooms must be a whole number from 0 to 20**: use an integer in that range.
- **The area must be a whole number of square metres**: use a whole-number area within the field's bounds.
- **The property couldn't be saved. Try again.**: keep the intended changes and retry; do not assume the save succeeded.

1. Start with the essential property details. Address and contact phone are enough to begin.
2. Enter the property address.
3. Add the city.
4. Add rooms, bathrooms, and size if you know them.
5. Add the asking price and currency.
6. Contact details come from your profile. Change them if this listing uses someone else.
7. Click Continue to describe the property.
