# Add another post to an existing campaign

Add a manual post or an AI batch without creating a separate campaign or repeating its goal and urgency questions.

Canonical: https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/add-post/

## What this is for

Use **Add a post** when new content belongs to a campaign or property you already manage. The route `/campaigns/:id/add` keeps it in that campaign rather than making a new one.

## Before you start

Open the intended campaign and check its name. An archived campaign cannot accept more posts, and a campaign still being created may ask you to wait. Connect any extra networks before you need them.

## Add a manual post

1. In the [campaign board](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/campaign-board/), choose **Add a post** on the add tile or row.
1. At **Who creates the post?**, choose **Me**. Goal and urgency are not asked again: they already belong to the campaign.
1. Write **Post content**, and optionally **Name**.
1. Add photos or videos with **Upload photos or videos**, use the campaign's media bank, or choose **Continue without adding media**.
1. Choose **Networks** and configure the accounts, formats and groups for this post. Do not assume another post's destinations are automatically the right ones.
1. Press **I'm done**, inspect **Preview**, then **Finish** to set the publishing time.
1. Review every network's schedule. Choose **Publish to the campaign** or, in Nadlanite, **Publish to the property** to approve publication on those schedules. To keep it unapproved, use the draft action instead.
1. On the confirmation screen, choose the view action to return to the campaign, or **Create another post** to continue adding.

See the [manual flow](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/create-manual/) for network and media choices in detail.

## Add posts with AI

1. Choose **The AI** at the creator question.
1. In **Add posts with AI**, enter the brief and optional media, then review networks and the subsequent choices offered.
1. Review the sample and request changes before creating. Existing campaign context is reused; you are not setting a new campaign goal.
1. Return to the board and review the created content. AI-added posts are created paused, including additions to an already active campaign. Use **Resume all** only after checking the paused content.

A calendar-selected time or an explicit manual entry can open the manual composer directly without the creator question. This does not mean a goal or urgency answer was lost.

## If something goes wrong

- **The campaign is still being created in the background. Try again in a moment.**: return to the board and allow creation to progress.
- **The campaign is archived, so it takes no more posts.**: [restore it](https://docs.lead-knight.com/en/campaigns/manage-campaign/) if you intend to use it again; review its paused posts separately.
- **Choose at least one network**: select a network and finish its account/recipient settings.
- **Media in this post is no longer available. Upload it again.**: remove the unavailable item and upload it again.
- A success screen reports **Not published on …**: read the reason. Correct it and use **Try again** on the campaign page; that network will not necessarily publish on its own.

1. A new campaign is created paused, so nothing is published yet.
2. First review the posts on the board, and fix what you need.
3. When you are ready, click Resume all. The posts then go out on their schedule.
